Project Description
The proposed alternative solution suggests relocating 65 mm fire hose valve (FHV) connections inside the exit stair enclosures, in accordance with NBC and NFPA 14 standards for a Class I standpipe system. On the ground floor, where access from inside the stair to the floor area is not feasible, the hose valve connections will be placed within the floor area ensuring the required hose coverage.
