Alternative solution for permit 24 210400 To provide 65 mm standpipe system hose valve connection in general conformance with the 2015 national building code (NVC ) and the 2013 edition of NFPA 14 Standard for insulation of standpipe and hose system (as referenced by the NBC and the OBC) in this fully sprinklered building.The 65 mm hose connections will be provided in lieu of hose station (38 mm and 65 mm hose valves 38 mm hose and nozzle) required by the 2012 Ontario building code. The standpipe system and hose connections will be located within exit stair enclosures, and vertical service spaces (where required)
