Project Description
This Alternative Solution addresses the approach developed to permit the vertical stair opening within the Nike - Rise suite (CRU 300/A038S on Levels 3 and 4 of the Toronto Eaton Centre (TEC) located in Toronto, Ontario. It is proposed to have a 1.8 m wide by 3.7 m high vertical opening in the fire separation to allow movement of occupants to and from the stair. The total area of the vertical opening will be 6.7 m2. Refer to the LRI Report dated February 24, 2025 for more information.
