Project Description

Alternative solution to satisfy the requirements of the Ontario Building Code-O.Reg.3332/12 (OBC) regarding the egress/exit arrangement from the basement floor area; specifically that the basement includes one exit stair whereas the OBC requires that it be provided with two separate means of exiting. This aspect has been explicitly identified by the Authority Having Jurisdiction in their review letter dated January 9, 2023. Refer to RJBEL reported entitled, "23035 Sealed FPE Analysis Revised R230531".
