Project Description

Alternative Solution for proposed not to install 30 m lengths of 38 mm hoses in cabinets throughout the proposed building. In lieu of hose stations (i.e. cabinets), the building is proposed to be provided with 65 mm hose connections, which will be located at the main landing in each exit stair enclosure and in the floor areas, where required to achieve floor area hose coverage. It is proposed to install the standpipe system in accordance with the City of Toronto pre-approval conditions. See the LRI Alternative Solution Report #28454 for full text.
