Project Description

The purpose of this alternative is to address the OBC requirement for the distance between exterior doors leading from two or more exit stairs serving the same floor area to be not less than 6 m, where the building is sprinklered and the exterior doors are located within 15 m of a street as required by Sentence 3.4.2.3.(4)(b). On an alternative solution basis, it is proposed that Exit Stairs F and E, which both serve the Level 02 floor area will not have the above noted distance between exterior doors (for clarity, Level 2 is served by additional exit stairways
