Project Description
Provide stainless steel pipes and fittings for main domestic water service in lieu of ductile-iron pipes and fittings.New stainless steel pipes shall confirm to ASTM A 269, "Seamless and welded autenitic stainless tubing for general service", schedule 40, and type 304. Connections shall be butt welded and/or flanged. Pipe fittings shall be made of a material that matches the grade of the pipe material.For additional information refer to attached Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs, "Proposed Change to The 2012 Building Code O. Reg. 332/12 as Amended". Change Number B-07-02-07, Ontario-NPC, Code Reference Division B/7.2.6.
