Project Description

Plumbing - Proposed interior alterations to convert existing single family dwelling into a two-unit dwelling. 1. Replace existing door from main level to basement stairway with fire-rated self-closing door;2. Replace existing basement unit entrance door with fire-rated self-closing door;3. Enclose existing laundry area with fire-rated drywall & insulation and fire-rated self-closing door;4. Provide required fire separation around basement stairway;5. Replace existing window in basement to provide escape window as a second means of escape.
