Project Description

At the request of Montgomery Sisam Architects Inc, Matteo Gilfillan and Associates Inc (MGA) has prepared this correspondence to summarize the proposed Alternative Solution for providing 65mm diameter standpipe hose connections within the exit stairs (and as required on the floor areas for coverage purposes) in lieu for the proposed retirement home building to be located at 150 Balmoral Ave.This correspondence has been prepared with respect to the fire and life safety requirements in Part 3 of the 2012 Ontario Building Code (OBC, O. Reg 332/12 as amended to O. Reg 867/21)as well as the Alternative Solution Proposal requirements in Division C, Article 2.1.1.1 of the OBC.
