Project Description

Plumbing - We are proposing to renovate a partial area of the 2nd floor Conference Center for the University of Toronto. The extent of the renovation includes building a Universal washroom, providing new finishes to the walls, ceilings and floors. We are also proposing to retrofit the existing Air Handling Units which provides both heating, cooling and exhausting for the 2nd floor and 3rd floor washrooms. One existing roof exhaust opening is to be capped and a new exhaust fan is designed in the 2nd floor ceiling. Additional plumbing alterations are also proposed for the re-routing of plumbing lines and upgrading in piping materials. Furthermore, the renovation also includes new electrical outlets, fixtures, data, and AV equipment to serve the new renovated Conference Center spaces on the second floor. To complete this renovation, mechanical and electrical work is expected to take place on the ground, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. The majority of the Architectural work will be on the 2nd floor, with patching work on the ground and 3rd floors.
