Project Description
The indoor public spa located on Level 5 is classified as a public spa. The design and construction of the public pool is regulated by OBC Section 3.12.The spa is required to be surrounded by a deck that is 1800 mm at the entrance and 900 mm at the other three sides, except that 25% of the deck can be 300 mm if the spa is less than 6 m² and has no interior dimension of more than 2.5 m. Due to the location of the public spa adjacent to an exterior wall and adjacent interior spaces, including the spa mechanical room and the barrier-free lift to serve the spa, it is proposed to provide an 1800 mm deck at the entrance only with a 215 mm wall on the other three sides.
