Project Description

Alternative Solution - The building intends to include an overcladding element that consists of ACM (aluminum composite material) panels shaped over mullions for an improved aesthetic. The ACM panels include combustible elements. As the building is over six-storeys in building height, this alternative solution is required. The overcladding that includes the combustible material is limited to a small fraction of the surface area on the lowest two storeys of the building, thereby limiting the potential fire spread risk to the level permitted by the acceptable solutions.See LRI report for additional elaboration.
