Project Description
Throughout the project, several existing floor and nonloadbearing wall assemblies have been found to not meet the required fire-resistance rating when calculated using MMAH Supplementary Standard SB-2. The same is true for several conditions of individual protected steel beams and columns. Each of these conditions has been assessed individually to determine the requited additional fire protection measures to achive the required fire-resistance rating of the assembly or structural element. This additional protection is typically spray-applied fire-resistive material or gypsum wallboard. Each condition has been summarized as an individual engineering Judgement.
