Alternative Solution to propose 4 closely spaced sprinklers complete with draft stops, in lieu of enclosing the stair between the two floors within the subject single tenant unit no. 37.The performance level of the proposed Alternate Solution is based on the design requirements of NFPA-13 2013 8.15.4 Vertical Openings for moving stairways, staircases, or similar floor openings that are unenclosed where sprinklers serve as an alternative to enclosure of the vertical opening.Based on the proposed design, it is our opinion that the space will be maintained as a continuous element thus meeting the objectives and functional statements as identified
