Project Description

To use Ontario Building Code Part 7 7.4.10.8.(2) for sizing of the sanitary drainage pipes instead of Table 7.4.10.8. at the building discharge to suit the servicing connections to the building. Table 7.4.10.8 of the OBC allows for 4500 fixture units to be drained in at 250mm pipe at 2.0% and the building load is ±6200 fixture units. The proposal is to use OBC 7.4.10.8.(2) for the sizing of the building discharge pipe only. In addition, the 250mm pipe complies with all municipal sanitary sewer sizing guidelines.The 250mm pipe complies with OBC 7.4.10.8.(2) as per the attached calculations. (see Appendix A)
