Project Description
Proposed alternative solution to protect the standpipe riser on level 2, near the electrical closet, with fire wrap (3M Fire Barrier Duct Wrap 615+) in lieu of locating it in a 1 h fire rated vertical service space. The proposed fire wrap can provide up to 2 h fire resistance rating. The standpipe riser will be protected against mechanical damage by locating the fire wrapped riser in drywall enclosure.
