Project Description
The 6-8 Gloucester Street project consists of a 34 storey residential tower and a 2 level basement. The building will be designed in accordance with OBC Article 3.2.2.42 (Group C, Any Height, Any Area, Sprinklered). The Alternative Solution is required because the outdoor public pool on the 33rd floor is not provided with a 1800mm pool deck on one (1) side (long side) of the pool. It is our opinion that the rescue of a bather can be done from the one (1) side of the three (3) sides of the pool deck that has the 1800mm clear space given the water depth and the width of the pool.
