Project Description
REVISION#1: The revisions involved structural changes due to site conditions revealed once walls and ceiling were opened up.Revisions to the structural design occurred due to the need to replace the damaged existing 2x8 floor joists and associated beams. The ridge beam was required once the roof was opened up and the poor condition of the brickwork at the top of the existing walls was revealed. Once the site dimensions and location of beams surrounding the stair opening in the floor were confirmed it was clear that the stair from the first to second floors could not be rebuilt to achieve the new requirement of 10in treads. The request is therefore that the stair be rebuilt as per the original size with treads of 9".Proposal to convert the existing attic space into a new third storey addition and interior alterations for the existing detached single family house.
