Project Description

Alternative Solution for providing 65 mm diameter standpipe hose valves withing the exit stairs (and as required on the floor areas for coverage purposes) in lieu of traditional fire hose cabinets (containing 38mm and 65 mm diameter hose connections as well as 30 m of fire hose) for the residential building to be located at 321 Davenport Road. This correspondens has been prepard with respect to the fire and life safety requiremetn in Part 3 of the 2012 Ontario Building Code (OBC, O. Reg 332/12 as amended to O.Reg 762/20 - as read prior to January 1, 2022) as well as the Alternative Solution Proposal requirements in Division C, Article 2.1.1.1. of the 2012 Ontario Building Code.
