Application to use grade TP3-4 SCH 10 stainless steel (SS) Pipe as alternate to type L copper for domestic water main riser for added safety of higher working pressure rating of SS pipe (listed at 1000 PSIG) compared to type L copper (listed at 504 PSIG). SS pipe proposed to be installed using victaulic IPS stainless steel pipe pressfit system for joint fittings.
