Project Description
Alternative Solution - although the dead end corridor meets the residential dead-end corridor maximum 6m length requirement, this corridor also serves an amenity room (assembly occupancy), OBC Sentence 3.3.1.9.(8) also applies, which states that a dead-end corridor is permitted in an assembly occupancy provided there is a second and separate egress doorway from each room or suite not leading into a dead-end corridor. It is proposed to provide compensating measures to achieve sufficiency of compliance.
