Project Description

This alternative solution proposal has been prepared to address the required rated wall assemblies serving exit stair C on the 4th and 5th levels of the building. Currently, it is understood that glazed assemblies provided within the exit stair are provided with insulated metal panels (I.E., no vision glass from the stair well). However, based on the correspondence with Menkes, it is understood that the metal panels provided within the exit stair shaft are not provided with a fire resistance rating. As such, the openings provided are considered as unprotected openings.
