Project Description

130 Bloor Street West is an existing building that contains a retail podium level with a single high rise office and condominium tower above. An existing set of exit doors on the second floor and a stair (Stair G) down from third floor mechanical room currently lead out onto the roof of the first floor. There is no exit off of the roof at the second floor level. As such, travel distance deficiencies exist on the second floor and egress facilities from the 3rd floor mechanical space are not compliant with the prescriptive requirements of the 2012 OBC.
