BLOCKS 3 & 4 - Bldg K - There are 2 (two) issues to be addressed in this Alternative Solution for the townhouses. Sentence 9.9.9.1.(1) requires the exit door for the townhouse units to be not more than 1.5m above adjacent ground level and not necessary to travel down more than 1 (one) storey to reach the level served by this exit door. Secondly, Sentence 9.9.4.4.(1) requires openings in the exterior wall of adjacent fire compartments within 3m horizontally and 10m below or 5m above the exterior exit stair to be protected.
