Alternative Solution application to use grade TP304 SCH 10 and 40 Stainless steel (SS) pipe as alternative to Type L copper for domestic cold water main riser for added safety or higher working pressure rating of SS pipe (listed @ 1000 PSIG) compared to type L copper (listed @ 504 PSIG). SS pipe proposed to installed using victaulic rigid coupling style 89 and 107N for joint fittings.
