Project Description
Alternative solution proposal to construct a vertical duct space extending from level 1M to Level 21 with a 2 h fire-resistance rating with the bottom of the duct space open to a level 1M service room without duct fire dampers at the base of the duct space. The proposed design is in lieu of a 1h vertical service space construction with fire dampers at the base of service space separating it form service room. Fire dampers will be provided in all duct penetrations of the duct space fire separation to storeys above level 1M. (refer to report November 26/2021)
