Project Description

Description of proposed work:Kitchen renovation that requires:A) Remove 15 feet of first story load bearing wall and header. Then reinforce existing floor joist as per engineering recommendations and specifications. B) Relocate kitchen sink. Detailed Description of proposed work A) Install (S3) new ¿C" channel reinforcement to 5 ply beam on foundationB) Install (S3-S4) new two 4-ply posts onto 5-ply beam and new 3-ply Microllam LVL onto new postsC) Install (S4) new one 3-ply post and new 2-ply spf 2x8 post /beam to replace existing header. D) Relocate (S2) sink from west wall to south wall. We will reuse existing drainage system.
