Revision 02 0 HVA - Unforeseen Existing Site Condition requiring relocation of EDS Pit and Level 10 Penthouse revisions, and subsequent follow-on impacts to above ground room relocations, and associated servicesMain reason for this permit changes are:1. Client / UofT¿s request design changes to provide access platform at all levels within the new mechanical shaft for future maintenance and access. 2. Unforeseen existing site condition requiring relocation of EDS pit and subsequent drainage lines routing to EDS Pit location. 3. Unforeseen existing site condition correction to elevator Pit drainage system to meet code requirements. 4. West pit and utility tunnel connection revision due to unforeseen site conditions related to existing underground utilities. Refer to attached write up for more detail changes to each drawing that was issued as part of this permit revision.Revision 01: HVAC - Proposal for interior alterations to the existing Level 1 (Basement) of the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) at the University of Toronto to incorporate an Emerging and Pandemic Infections Centre (EPIC) whose laboratories, office spaces, support spaces, and washrooms will require their own mechanical and electrical infrastructure that are independent from the rest of the building. Therefore, a new 719 sm. mechanical service penthouse is also required to be constructed on the existing roof of the MSB.
