Project Description
Alternative solution proposal reviews the requirements of building services (fire fighters telephones; FFT) located in a fire separation or fire rated assemblies. This FFT's are located in concrete block and or listed fire rated gypsum board assemblies . This proposal addresses the penetration of the fire rated assembly by protection the FFT box with a listed fire stop material for metallic boxes listed up to 2 hrs. The listed material helps achieve an equal F-rating in membrane penetrations of rated wall assemblies.
