Project Description

This proposal relates to the building designated Regent Park Block 16 North at 175 Oak Street.There are three components to the proposed alternative solution:1. Deletion of hose cabinets in all levels of the building, and installation of standpipe risers and 65 mm hose connections within exit stair shafts in all storeys.2. Provision of additional 65 mm hose connections outside of exit enclosures.3. Riser penetration of a fire separation between contiguous exits to be protected with a firestop system having an FT rating not less that 2 h.
